Woman and their Jilbab
Let me post one issue that is not popular currently.
It was a talk with a friend, about girls and our wild desire on them, our conversation drifted in different directions but finally it came into a light debate when we talked about what so called: future wife, my friend stated his understanding that her future wife should use a hijab or jilbab since his family and religious understanding asked him to be in that way, it's totally ok for him but not for me.
Uh actually I don't want to talk about this matter since to marry or not this time is not a big deal for me, what I want now is just to have a lot of friends and enjoy the time with them and having fun meanwhile improving our skills, but okay, the conversation drove us in that way, for me my future wife -uh I call it- doesn't have to wear a hijab or jilbab since it's not more than just a fashion, and it's nothing to do with obedience to God or religious thing, again in this jilbab-hijab case I define my future wife as flexible personality, I mean she can use jilbab according to the context and situation, you got it?!
Finally it reveals our understanding; it's hijab or here called jilbab, I believe and I do understand jilbab and hijab is merely a piece of cotton that used in a certain tradition only to show their identity, to differ them from the other, but it's nothing to do with Islam or religion, and it's nothing to do with obedience or faith, it's just symbol that used to show the ego of a certain culture, what I understand it's ok to people to wear hijab and nothing wrong if they don't, again I understand it as a cultural or even tribal obligatory not religious one!
What I want to say is simply a compromise in procedure but firm in values and essence of faith, procedure is just the way not the destination, same like this jilbab-hijab case.
Uh it seems a serious matter, anyway just drop your comment if you want to, but do appreciate the differences as blessings, and after that let's talk better on how to have a better fun in friendshipping!

The Blast and The United

I was so needy and madly wanting to watch Giggsy and Fergie playing in Jakarta, therefore with my United fanatism I accepted a crazy translation freelance work order from my friend (sigh I had to finish the translation in just 2 days for more than 40 pages, and it's well done, but the work created some pain on my back), I was paid fairly though.
So I bought a pair of 3rd class ticket of United' tour in Jakarta through Googling in the net, and I got the ticket available on one of the popular Indonesian forum for selling and buying, kaskus.us , yeah I got the ticket through the 3rd party reseller or here in Jakarta it's called calo,, of course I bought it with doubled price, and with a strong desire to watch Fergie's soldiers playing in Jakarta.
Bangsat!!! or damn!!! that's the first word shouted out from my mouth when I woke up on Friday's July 17 2009, the dream of watching the best football club in the just vanished by that coward suicide bomb, I don't care about what's the motif behind the bomb, I don't care who is the bomber, terrorism or whatever, what I care is that I don't understand why such humanity tragedy repeated again and again, and why we're so ignorance to let it happen again? and again what I care is the innocent victims of the bomb and my dream to watch the United's magic football faded exactly when the bomb exploded --I do totally understand why United cancelled their visit to my country ---.
But still, let me hope not to see that humanity tragedy happen again in my beloved country, but let me hope to SEE United playing in my country someday in the nearer nearest future, I do apologize that my country couldn't be a good host for the international guests.
And hereby I declared: I am Wazeen, I'm a Muslim (to be honest, for me it's so hard to wake up and perform the dawn prayer on time, but when United plays in early morning I'm sure that I can perform the dawn prayer on time), I'm a Manchester United fan (every time Man United win the game I feel better), I condemned such cowardly terrorist bombings, I urge to my government to punish whoever behind such attack as soon as possible.
And let me sing Glory Glory Humanity, Glory Glory Man United and the Reds Go Marching ON.
*the picture was taken from one of my facebook friend.
*the scribble on the picture means: damn, bastard!!! you (terrorist) may be laughing right now, but we will never never be afraid of you, we will unite, let's unite Indonesian people against this coward act, terrorism is our common enemy, we're disappointed that Manchester United canceled their visit (but we DO understand why) from Indonesian United fan.
